Debbie Clark was born and raised in the southern state of Louisiana. Her spiritual journey began through the close relationship she experienced with her grandparents. Their positive example, influential guidance and loving support provided her with a strong Christian foundation in order to build an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ.

In 1992, Mrs. Clark graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. During college, Mrs. Clark met her future husband, Troy and they married in 1993. For the next ten years, both Mrs. Clark and her husband traveled throughout the United States and internationally while Troy served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Also during this time, God blessed them with two children, Courtney and Troy Lee.

In 2002, the Clark family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona where Mrs. Clark continued to pursue God's calling on her life as a teacher. After prayerful consideration, she was led directly to Joy Christian School where she was initially hired as a preschool teacher. During this time, Mrs. Clark began to pursue her Master's of Education degree through the University of Phoenix. In 2005, she was offered a position as a Kindergarten teacher at Joy Christian School. Mrs. Clark completed her Master's degree in May 2007 and graduated from the University of Phoenix in July 2007.

Being part of the Joy Christian School family has been an amazing blessing in Mrs. Clark's life. She feels God's grace and guidance in her classroom as she reaches and teaches her students. She feels as though her mission is to plant seeds of God's love within the hearts of her students and their families. This is her mission as a teacher of God's children. Helping children to love learning and to find their gifts is one of Mrs. Clark's greatest joys as a teacher.
