Denise Hall Denise Hall was born in Elkhart, Indiana and raised in Clarksburg, West Virginia. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1984, and attended public schools in the Paradise Valley School District. In 1994, she graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. In 2002, she received a Master of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. Mrs. Hall has 11 years of experience in education. She taught for nine years in the Paradise Valley School District. During these years, she taught Kindergarten, First Grade, and Self-Contained Structured English Immersion First Grade. She has served on many different school committees including: PTO Teacher Representative, Site-Based Council, Curriculum Adoption, and Kindergarten Assessment Writing Cadre. Mrs. Hall has been teaching First Grade at Joy for two years. This school year, she is one of the Core Knowledge Co-Coordinators and will be helping with the reading curriculum adoption. Mrs. Hall has been married to her husband, Jeremy, for 14 years. They have two children: Aryka, a third grader, and Aaron, a Kindergartener, both attending Joy. The Halls are members of Community Church of Joy. The Hall family enjoys hiking, letterboxing, and movie/picnic nights at home on the family room floor. Mrs. Hall is thrilled to be teaching at Joy Christian School. By bringing her teaching experiences into a Christian school setting, she is able to grow in her own personal relationship with Jesus as she shares knowledge, faith, and understanding with her students. She is strongly committed to her Christian faith and sharing God’s word with others. |
