Coach Webb grew up in a small town in Ohio, where the entire community centered around two things – church and school. She was raised in a Christian home and grew to love the Lord from an early age. She also loved everything about school and dreamed of someday becoming a teacher. So, even from her roots, God had a plan to combine these two loves.

Coach Webb's family moved to Arizona, and she attended high school in Flagstaff. Throughout her school years, she was fortunate to be able to play many different sports, although her passion was cheer and dance. She then went on to the University of Arizona in Tucson where she earned a bachelor's degree, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors.

While staying home with her first child, Coach Webb was instrumental in bringing an Aerobics Ministry to Community Church of Joy. She taught aerobics here for many years, helping women become more fit both physically and spiritually. "The ways in which God can use us for His kingdom never ceases to amaze me!" Her program used only Christian music, and she always ended with a time of devotion and prayer. Other churches have sought her out for developing similar ministries.

As she prepared to send her son to Kindergarten at Joy in 2001, the director of the school approached her about utilizing her fitness experience in the Athletic Department, led by the newly hired Coach James. She jumped at this opportunity and let God do the rest. Coach Webb has since become a P.E. Teacher for Kindergarten through 8th grades, and has coached virtually every sport that the school offers. She is the head coach for our 7th & 8th grade Volleyball Team and our Cheer Squad. She is also the Director of our Dance Team – a ministry of auditioned dancers that practices and performs throughout the entire school year.

Coach Webb is quick to give the glory to God for the way he has worked in her life. She is so grateful that He has allowed her to teach in a loving, Christian environment, helping shape and build these awesome kids using the fun and excitement of athletics.
