Kristina Shoger Kristina Shoger is an Arizona native who grew up in a family of Christian educators. Ms. Shoger never planned to be a teacher. However, after a career in cosmetology and banking, she was led to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. Ms. Shoger graduated from ASU West in 1996 with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She continued her education through Northern Arizona University, completing her Masters Degree in Elementary Education in December 2005. Other educational endorsements include an Early Childhood Endorsement and an ACSI Educators Certificate. Ms. Shoger is currently the Admissions Director and Core Knowledge Coordinator at Joy Christian School. Ms. Shoger has previous experiences in mentoring new teachers as well as sharing ideas with fellow teachers, and has had the pleasure of acting as a cooperating teacher for student teachers from ASU West, and Northern Arizona University. Ms. Shoger currently resides in Glendale with her son, age ten, who has attended Joy Christian Schools since he was two years old. In her free time she enjoys scrapbooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. |
