Jennifer Werther Jennifer Werther was born at Luke Air Force Base, Glendale, Arizona. As a child, she had the opportunity to travel all around the United States and Europe. She spent three years stationed in Naples, Italy, and four years stationed in Ramstein, Germany. She had the unique pleasure of attending high school in Ramstein. As members of a small family, they learned to lean on each other and their faith. She was raised in the Catholic faith and as a high school student, she was able to proclaim her desires to be a part of the Catholic faith. Since then, she has continued to nourish her faith while trying to expand her knowledge in other Christian religions. When Jennifer was in Europe, one of her favorite pastimes was traveling to visit different churches. Jennifer was blessed to be living across the street when Joy was being built. Her love for children and their innocence brought her to Joy more than eight years ago. She was working at another Preschool and one of the parents informed her that they intended to take their child to Joy. She was impressed with the information they shared with her, and decided to apply to work at Joy. She is constantly amazed at what children are able to do in a loving environment. Jennifer received her Associate degree in Elementary Education from Glendale Community College. She enjoys attending Early Childhood classes and workshops as this helps her to keep up to date with new concepts. This allows her to provide the best possible care to her students. Jennifer has worked at several different Daycare Centers in the Northwest Valley but something seemed to be lacking. When she came to work at Joy, she knew immediately that she would call Joy home! Jennifer has been here since November 1998 and cannot imagine what her life would have been like without this place. Jennifer is part of an amazing team of teachers who bring love and care to our older infant room. She maintains the children’s daily needs as well as encourages them to know the love of God. It is never too early to teach them that we have an amazing God who touches us in many ways!
