Rebecca Wolf Rebecca (Becky) Wolf was born in Enid, Oklahoma, at Vance Air Force Base. Shortly after her birth, Becky and her family moved to Alabama, Mississippi and finally Texas where she spent the majority of her childhood years. As a child, Becky was brought up in the Lutheran Church and she was very active in her youth group. She was a youth leader and worked in the nursery of her church in Texas. She attended High School in San Antonio, Texas, where she was a leader in her P.A.L.S. (Peer Assistant Leadership) program and visited Elementary schools to help Special Needs children. She spent one semester at the University of Texas, Santonio (UTSA), then she moved to Phoenix where her parents were living. Becky and her family became members of Joy Community Church. Becky was studying Early Childhood at the Glendale Community College when she learned of an opportunity to work at Joy. She quickly jumped at the chance to work at her home church and to share God’s love with the children at Joy. Becky was married in 2006 and she and her husband have a daughter, Kaitlin, who also attends Joy. Becky is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree. Becky feels blessed to have been brought to Joy, first as an Asst. Teacher and now as a Lead Teacher in the Extended Care program, one-year-old classroom.
