JCS Key 2008-11 Initiatives
- JCS Staff Leadership Training and Development – Intensive investment in building and recruiting an outstanding faculty and staff. Investing in professional growth, spiritual growth, healthy conflict resolution, personal support, balance of life issues, and leadership development.
- JCS Youth Leadership Academy – Development of an intentional and comprehensive leadership training program for students in grades 6-12. Will include specific coursework, mentoring, LifeShapes training, leadership training, and service opportunities- locally, nationally, and worldwide.
- JCS World-wide Partner School Program - Development of a partner school relationship with schools around the world – grades K-12. Sharing of spiritual, cultural, relational, political, etc...ideas and beliefs. Direct connection with our JCS Youth Leadership Academy, especially with mission opportunities—envision world mission projects done collaboratively by JCS students and partner school students. Has the potential of developing a student and faculty exchange component.
- Joy Campus Community – One Vision, One Mission, One Team – Continue to discover and develop innovative, strategic, and intentional blending and imbedding of school ministry and church ministries on the Joy campus. Building one team!. Continue to proactively address current and future campus facility needs.
- Healthy Community and Relationships – Faith Raising. – Continue to “create and identify opportunities” for people to partner with each other and join God in His work here at and through Joy. Provide an enthusiastic place for – staff, students, parents, volunteers, partners - to belong and become all that God has created them to be.
