High School Application Forms
& Application/Registration Fee 

Please complete the new student or returning student application form and return them to the high school office at Joy Christian School at least two (2) days prior to your scheduled interview date. Only complete applications will be considered. A non-refundable new student application fee of $40 must accompany each application. A non-refundable $400 registration fee will be collected when the applying new student is granted admission to Joy Christian School. For returning Joy Christian students (8th to 9th grade), a $200 non-refundable registration fee will be collected with the submission of the re-enrollment form to the high school.

Letters of Recommendation for Incoming High School Students

Please give the appropriate recommendation forms to your English or Social Studies Teacher, Math or Science Teacher, Administrator, and Co-Curricular Coach/Mentor. All of these recommendation forms must be completed and returned to the high school office at Joy Christian School. Final acceptance to the high school will not be granted until all recommendation forms have been submitted.

Transcript Request
(For students who do not currently attend Joy Christian School)

Please submit the transcript request form to the applicant’s current Principal or Guidance Counselor. The transcript should be sent directly from the school to Joy Christian School.

Interview for Incoming High School Students

All applicants are required to visit the high school Principal for an interview as part of the application process. The student and parent(s) are to attend. Please call the high school office (623.362.3250) to schedule an interview. Appointment times are approximately thirty (30) minutes.

Placement Testing for Incoming 9th Grade Students

A Placement Exam will be administered to all Joy Christian School 9th grade applicants. This exam will be given at the high school during the month of April. The test date will be given at the interview appointment. A $40 testing fee will be collected on the test date.

Tuition Assistance 

You may request a Tuition Assistance Application from the school’s business office.

Notification of Acceptance for Incoming High School Students

Admission decision letters will be mailed to the candidate’s home once all paperwork has been collected by the admission’s office and reviewed by the administration. PLEASE NOTE: Final acceptance will not be granted until all documents have been submitted and all steps completed.
